Yesterday was Girl Scout International Day! Kelly's Daisy troop was invited to attend as "tourists" this year and next year they will be eligible to represent a country! It was a lot of fun and I am proud of Kelly for trying some new food! How it works...each Girl Scout troop is assigned a country to represent. They have to find some fun facts about that country, dress as they would there and cook a popular food. As a tourist, you get to walk to each booth and sample the food for 10 cents. It was fun and I look forward to next time when we can participate a little bit more!!
