Today was the day that Jake got his big cast off!

We thought he was going to be put into a

walking cast but instead he is in a air cast.

The orthopedist decided to do
this for two reasons...

one, his bones are healing GREAT!!
and two, he has a very large and

semi deep blister, owie thing on the back

of his ankle. Apparently the other cast

was rubbing on his poor foot :(

So, he is in a stylish air cast that he will wear

until we have his re-check in 3 weeks.

The good thing about the new cast...

it comes off!! So, he can take a real bath!

He also does not have to wear it

while he is sleeping.

Dr Wienert gave Jake these

cool head phones to wear

while he was using the saw.

Jake was not too sure!
