Jake's New Boot!

Today we had Jake's appointment with a

pediatric orthopedist...such a nice guy!!
He casted Jake's leg but instead of a walking cast

he has one that goes above his knee. I was a bit bummed

at first but once he explained why he needed that one...

I felt better. So, no walking for 2 more weeks! He can scoot,

crawl, roll...whatever he wants, just no standing! In 2 weeks

we go back and he gets a shorter cast and a walking boot.

The good thing...once he got the cast on there was immediate

relief and not as much pain. He is definetly more comfortable

and moving with more ease! Thank you again for the prayers!!

first she wanted him to get Christmas colors, then

pink and finally blue...phew!!
