At our house we do not have a choice...

when you have a daughter who would rather

play with bugs than Barbies...you

just go along with it.

So, for the past month or so we have

been watching this spider.

It is pretty amazing to see not only the webs

he is making but the bugs he is catching.

He even has a name...

He often hangs out under the lamppost

On Kelly's first day of school she

picked Chuck E Cheese as her special dinner night

The only way to keep Jake out of our room...

plywood! So far, he has not figured out how

to get climb over it.
