Road Trip!!!

This past weekend we took a road trip to Sacramento!

We went to visit a friend of mine from High School...

Her daughter was celebrating her 10th birthday!

We had a great time!

We had our moments in the car...but we survived!

Incredible is an understatement!
This place was soooo much fun!!!

After the party, we all went back to Allison's house

for a BBQ. It was nice visiting with Allison and her family

as well as Jenn and her family.

While in Sacramento we visited our State Capital.

What a BEAUTIFUL building!

It was really, really cold...so we bundled up.

The grounds of the Capital building were amazing.

Beautiful landscaping, trees (for climbing of course) and

lots of open grass area.

We were lucky enough to walk around inside!

There is a hall that has a display case for each county

in California. Kelly found our County...

HaHa...Jake discovered that when he yells really,

really loud it echos in the Capital building!!

Luckily we were visiting on a Sunday so the only

people there were security guards!!
