August already??? Where has the time gone? Did you know that Christmas is only 5 months away?? Yikes!! Okay...Here is the latest on the kiddos:
Kelly is loving her summer preschool! She attends a Private Christian School right down the street from our house. She goes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00-12:00 and is making lots of new friends. According to her teacher she is very happy and social...Kelly...social?? Really?? :) She will go for one more week and then have the rest of August and beginning of September off. After much thought and prayer we have decided to keep her at the same school for the fall. She will attend 3 days a week in the Pre-K program. She is very excited because she gets to take her lunch which means she gets to buy a new lunch box! Woohoo...the simple things that make kids happy!
Little Jake man is the happiest baby ever!! He is trying to cut his first tooth and is drooling like crazy!! We had his 4 month check-up a couple of weeks ago and we were so excited to get the okay to start cereal...however, due to his recent tummy troubles and allergies to milk/soy his pediatrician wants us to wait until he is 6 months to start. I think Kelly was a little disappointed. She really wants to help feed him. Jake is trying so hard to roll from his back to his tummy which should be interesting when it happens considering he cannot stand to be on his tummy! He loves to look at himself in the mirror and sit in his jumperoo.
If you have not already heard the news...Jake's new best friend was born on July 14th!! Check out Emily & Patrick's blog...lifetime friends for sure!
